1996 September 5
NewWorld.com (NewWorld) is incorporated under the laws of the State of Texas.
September - December
NewWorld acquires several video game websites including: The Adrenaline Vault, The PC Release List, Yarlen's Treehouse, Game Not Over, 3D Portal and others. All the acquired sites are eventually merged into the Adrenaline Vault (Avault).
1997 June 27
NewWorld launches the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) the world’s first organization to sanction computer game competitions as a professional sport.
2000 December 1
NewWorld launches the Consummate Computer Competition (C3), a competition for modified personal computers.
2001 March 6
NewWorld acquires the Domain of Games online league and relaunches it as the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL).
2005 January - December
NewWorld licenses the CPL brand in five continents and organizes a $1,000,000 CPL World Tour with Intel and NVIDIA. Finals are televised on MTV.
2006 July 18
NewWorld commences a complete renovation of the Adrenaline Vault website. Only the forums remain active.
December 16
NewWorld launches Severity, a project to develop video game standards for multiplayer competitions.
2007 February 26
NewWorld relaunches the Adrenaline Vault.
June 14
NewWorld licenses the Severity project to Escalation Studios.
2008 March 13
NewWorld halts the CPL's 2008 tournaments, and shortly after commences sale negotiations.
August 25
NewWorld sells a 90% interest in the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) to an investment group from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
September 25
NewWorld launches the Adrenaline Vault Podcast (Avault Podcast).
November 14
NewWorld sells the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) to the CPL Holding Group, LTD from Mahé, Seychelles.
2009 November 18
NewWorld sells its remaining 10% interest in the Cyberathlete Professional League to The CPL Digital Entertainment Pte Ltd from Singapore.
2010 February 8
NewWorld announces the appointment of Joe Garagiola, Jr. as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
February 17
NewWorld signs Mark Turcotte, Bill Bolton and Chris Micieli to a two-year contract as hosts of the Avault Podcast.
March 1
NewWorld signs Stevana Case to a two-year contract as host of the new Stevie FTW podcast.
